This weekend I’m playing in two tournaments, an NVL/Rox Qualifier (18u) in Dallas on Saturday and a USAV Qualifier (16u) in Austin on Sunday. I’m really excited for the Saturday tournament because there is a lot of good teams from Dallas playing in it and there will be a lot of college coaches present. I hope we do well, not only to impress the college coaches, but also because this is the only tournament I have yet to qualify for. On Sunday I know there will be a lot of teams, but I don’t think it will near as competitive as Saturday. Don’t get me wrong, it will still be a tough tournament. They’re giving out 5 bids (that’s a lot)! I would hope that we would finish top 5 but you never know what can happen on any given Sunday (you like how I slipped that in 🙂 Overall I know this weekend will be fun, no matter the outcome. I’m on the sand — what could be better!
